Safari Beach Lodge in Malawi is situated in a secluded forest reserve directly on the shore of Lake Malawi at only one and a half hour driving from the capital Lilongwe. Malawi, "The Warm Heart of Africa", lies at the south eastern end of the Great Rift Valley. The 585 km long Lake Malawi covers more than 15% of the country. Enclosed by hills and mountains and edged by tree-filled sandy beaches it is truly beautiful.
The clear waters of the lake are home to more than 800 species of fish. The people of Malawi exude a warmth and friendliness that make most visitors feel instantly at home.
You can choose to stay in one of our 7 beautiful gazebos (chalets build from natural materials), all with big verandas overlooking the lake from above. 2 of the gazebos each have 5 beds and are ideal for a family with children.
